Empanadas
Ingredients :
- 250g of flour
- 130 g of soft butter
- 1 egg yolk
- 1 tablespoon of sugar, salt
- About 50 ml of water to pick up the dough
- Stuff:
- 300g pre-cooked chicken breast
- 1 red pepper
- 1 small onion
- Salt, pepper, paprika, pitted olives, corn, cilantro
- 200 ml of water
Preparation :
- Dough:
- Mix the flour, butter and salt.
- Add the egg yolks and water, mix everything to shape the dough and put it in the fridge for an hour.
- Stuff:
- In a pan, brown the onion with salt and pepper, and add the chicken previously cooked and cut into small pieces.
- Add the olives, corn and cilantro.
- Pour in the water and let the stuffing cook.
- Shaping:
- Roll out the dough and form circles by a round mold.
- Put a little stuffing, tighten the ends.
- Repeat the process.
- Bake at 180 degrees.
- This dish can be eaten with soup or with tomato sauce.
