Hrira

Ingredients :

  • 1 onion
  • 2 tomatoes
  • 350g meat (Shoulder of lamb)
  • Coriander and celery
  • 100 g of chickpeas
  • 100 g lentils
  • Oil, Smen, concentrated tomato
  • Spices: Turmeric, ginger, Ras El Hanout, paprika, salt, pepper, vermicelli. a clove of garlic

Preparation :

  • Brown the pieces of meat with onions in a saucepan.
  • Add the tomatoes and simmer with the spices, then add the lentils and chickpeas.
  • Add hot water and let the meat cook.
  • Once the meat is tender, take two tablespoons of the sauce and add 1 tablespoon of flour with lemon juice.
  • Mix and add to the soup to thicken it. Finally, add the vermicelli.
