Khobz Tounes
Ingredients :
- 1 cup of breadcrumbs
- 1 cup of sugar
- 1 cup of ground hazelnuts
- 5 eggs
- 1 cup melted butter
- 1 baking powder
- Syrup:
- 2 glasses of water
- 1 cup of sugar
- 1 lemon slice
- 1 cup of flower water
Preparation :
- Start preparing the syrup;
- Melt the sugar in water, adding a lemon slice.
- Bring it to a boil for a minute, remove from the heat, add the flower water.
- 2. Cake:
- Mix the eggs, sugar and butter (cooled)
- 3- Add the ground hazelnuts and mix
- 4- Add the breadcrumbs and baking powder and mix.
- 5- Oil the baking dish, put the mixture and bake at 180 ° for 15 to 20 minutes
- 6- After cooking, soak it with the syrup and let it cool to serve.
