Kolach
Ingredients :
- 500g of flour
- 2 egg yolks
- 60g sugar
- 5 g of salt
- 1 tablespoon of baker's yeast
- 200 ml of hot milk
- 80 ml of lukewarm water
- 120 g butter
- Jam for garnish
- 1 egg for the gilding
Preparation :
- Mix the flour, sugar, salt, egg yolk, baking powder and water.
- Knead for 2 to 3 minutes, then add the butter and knead for 8 minutes.
- Cover it and leave it for an hour to an hour and a half.
- Degass the dough and form 60 gram balls and let rise, then make a small hole in the middle and decorate with jam.
- Bake for 15 to 20 minutes at 200 ° C.
