Kunafa
Ingredients :
- 1/2 kg of Qatayef
- 1 cup of Smen
- 1/2 cup of sugar
- Grated mozzarella for the stuffing
- Syrup:
- 2 cups of sugar
- a glass of water
- Lemon juice
Preparation :
- Open your Qatayef, mix them with melted Smen and sugar
- Oil the pan with a little Semn.
- Put a layer of Qatayef, press on it with a spatula or spoon
- Then add a layer of grated mozzarella.
- Cover it with a layer of Qatayef.
- Squeeze it again with the spatula and let it cook on this side.
- Once the ends take color, turn it over to cook it on the other side.
- For the syrup:
- Over medium heat, combine the sugar, water and lemon juice for 5 minutes and let cool.
- To make the Kenafeh good, pour the syrup over it while it is still hot.
