Kunafa

Ingredients :

  • 1/2 kg of Qatayef
  • 1 cup of Smen
  • 1/2 cup of sugar
  • Grated mozzarella for the stuffing
  • Syrup:
  • 2 cups of sugar
  • a glass of water
  • Lemon juice

Preparation :

  • Open your Qatayef, mix them with melted Smen and sugar
  • Oil the pan with a little Semn.
  • Put a layer of Qatayef, press on it with a spatula or spoon
  • Then add a layer of grated mozzarella.
  • Cover it with a layer of Qatayef.
  • Squeeze it again with the spatula and let it cook on this side.
  • Once the ends take color, turn it over to cook it on the other side.
  • For the syrup:
  • Over medium heat, combine the sugar, water and lemon juice for 5 minutes and let cool.
  • To make the Kenafeh good, pour the syrup over it while it is still hot.
