Moussaka

Ingredients :

  • 2 onions
  • 600 g minced meat
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Oil
  • 600 ml tomato pulp
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 3 eggplants
  • For the bechamel sauce:
  • 50g butter
  • 100g of flour
  • 400 ml milk
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Nutmeg
  • 1 egg

Preparation :

  • Start by preparing the minced meat, brown the onions in oil, then add the minced meat and garlic, add salt and pepper, then the tomatoes and mix well.
  • Cut the eggplants into slices and fry them.
  • For the bechamel sauce:
  • Melt the butter, add the flour and mix.
  • Then add the milk slowly while mixing, put the spices as soon as the preparation is thick, add the eggs, mix well and remove from the heat.
  • In a gratin dish, add a layer of eggplant, a layer of minced meat sauce, and repeat this again, then for the last layer put a layer of eggplant and the béchamel sauce.
  • Bake at 180 degrees.
